Two men zip-tied and executed

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Two men were found dead in an execution-style shooting near the intersection of Solly Avenue and Enfield Avenue, on the outskirts of Pennypack Park, police said. Both victims had their hands zip-tied behind their backs. The crime scene remains active, with investigators meticulously placing evidence markers where the bodies were discovered.

Authorities reported that two suspects fled the scene in a teal or green minivan. The girlfriend of one of the victims reportedly brought the men to the location, though her reasons for doing so remain unclear. She is currently in police custody.

Despite a thorough search, no ballistic evidence was found at the scene. Each victim suffered a single gunshot wound. One of the victims has been identified as a 35-year-old man from New Jersey, while the other remains unidentified.

A separate investigation is underway a block away, where the victims’ cell phones were recovered. Detectives are working to piece together the events leading up to the shooting and establish a motive.

The investigation is expected to continue throughout the morning as authorities seek to apprehend the suspects.

Police are appealing to the public for any information that might aid in their search for the suspects who managed to escape.

The community is urged to report any suspicious activity related to a teal or green minivan seen in the area.
