Texas Man Charged with Kidnapping Woman Locked Inside Trailer Home

A Texan man has been charged with kidnapping after allegedly imprisoning a woman inside a trailer home. Upon realizing that 42-year-old Abraham Bravo Segura had gone to work, the 32-year-old victim called police for assistance, reports said.

When officers arrived at the scene, the woman stated through a window that she was unable to get out of the home as the door was locked from the outside.

Firefighters had to cut through burglar bars to access the trailer because all the exits were barred. Three guns were found inside.

According to the probable cause order obtained by PEOPLE, the woman had allegedly been in a dating relationship with Segura for four years. Although she was able to walk around inside the trailer, she could only leave with Segura. She claimed that Segura had threatened her if she tried to leave the home.

Gilliland said that no real time frame had been established as to how long the woman had been locked inside the trailer. Some witnesses claim they had seen her outside the home on many occasions.

Segura was arrested on Wednesday and charged with one count of kidnapping. He is being held on a $180,000 bond.

The former kidnapping victim is currently staying in a women’s shelter.
