Seven people shot outside packed night club

LONG BEACH, CA – Authorities have reported a shooting incident that took place outside a nightclub in Long Beach on Saturday night. Over half a dozen individuals were hit by bullets amidst the gunfire. This incident happened around 11:15 p.m. at the intersection of Paramount Boulevard and South Street, as confirmed by the Long Beach Police Department.

The club near the intersection, Prendido de Noche, was filled with patrons enjoying live music when the shooting erupted. Among the seven gunshot victims, four are reportedly in critical condition, whilst the other three suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Paramedics from the Long Beach Fire Department transported several victims, while the others managed to reach nearby hospitals on their own. Video footage from the scene captured one victim being moved to an ambulance amidst an extensive police presence in the club’s parking lot.

Authorities were unable to share additional information on an individual seen being placed into a police car. The shooter, or shooters, are believed to have vacated the scene prior to the arrival of the police, and their descriptions remain unavailable. The motive behind the shooting also remains undetermined.

As a part of the ongoing investigation, South Street remained cordoned off till early Sunday morning.
