The suspect continued his spree on August 1, appearing at a Dollar General where he allegedly threatened a cashier with a firearm. The following day, August 2, an armed robbery took place at a Walgreens. Police say Taylor pointed a gun at a clerk before fleeing with stolen goods.
Authorities had been monitoring Taylor’s movements closely. On Sunday afternoon, they tracked him to a quiet neighborhood in Miramar. Despite repeated commands to disarm, Taylor allegedly refused, resulting in an officer-involved shooting.
