A terrible tragedy occurred in South Carolina, in which a woman and her daughter were gunned down by the woman’s husband. The shooter then took his own life in the aftermath. The authorities described the incident as being “domestic-related”.
William Peter Busick, 55, committed a gruesome double homicide on the 29th of January. His victims were his wife, Chastity Lynne Busick, who was 48-years-old, and his step-daughter, Jasmine Alyse Bailey, who was 23.
These events took place in the presence of another child in the home, who was “unharmed” during the incident. The Lexington County Sheriff’s Office and the Lexington County Coroner’s Office released press reports about the incident.
Busick was then reported to have shot himself, and was subsequently taken to a nearby medical facility. He ultimately passed away due to a gunshot wound to the head, according to the authorities.
The sheriff’s office has stated that the event is under investigation and there is no current danger to the public.
