Laundromat stabbing leaves father dead

BROOKLYN, NY – A tragic altercation at a laundromat in Brooklyn ended in the death of a worker, leaving a community in mourning. The incident unfolded at Laundry King on Neptune Avenue in Brighton Beach, where 51-year-old Wed Nordan was fatally stabbed in front of his son.

According to the 19-year-old son, a confrontation began when a customer accused him of bumping into him. The dispute quickly escalated, resulting in violence that left the son with a slashed forehead requiring 19 stitches.

The son, who chose to remain anonymous, recounted the harrowing moments leading to his father’s death. “My father heard the shouting and tried to intervene,” he explained. “He placed his hands on the man’s shoulder, trying to de-escalate. But the attacker turned violent, punching both of us before stabbing my father.”

The attacker fled the scene with a female companion, leaving the family devastated. Authorities tracked the suspect’s vehicle as it made its way into Staten Island, but he remains at large.
