High-speed police chase ends with multiple dead

BOOTHWYN, PA – A police chase culminated disastrously in a fatal crash in Boothwyn, Delaware County, leaving multiple people dead. The incident took place at around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday when Pennsylvania State troopers attempted to pull over a red sedan reportedly connected to a theft incident.

Radio transmissions indicate the pursued vehicle was traveling at speeds up to 110 miles per hour before crashing near the intersection of Route 322 and Chichester Avenue. Reports suggest that there were seven people in the chased car at the time of the crash. The well-being of those injured in the chase is yet to be disclosed.

Nathan Juliano, an employee at United Tire of Concordville situated near the scene, described the aftermath, stating, “There was nothing left of that car. The whole roof was off. It was bad. Nothing left.”

Witnesses recount sightings of an intense police pursuit and a subsequent loud crash. One of the witnesses claimed to have seen police preparing to deploy spike strips to halt the vehicle before the accident transpired.

The fatal car crash led to the closure of Route 322 as investigators processed the scene. The Pennsylvania State Police are overseeing the ongoing investigation into the incident.
