Frontier plane burts into flames during emergency landing

LAS VEGAS, NV – In a dramatic scene on Saturday, a Frontier Airlines plane caught fire upon making a hard landing at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. A viral video captured the incident, showing flames and smoke emanating from the aircraft’s landing gear after the flight touched down.

The aircraft, Frontier Airlines flight 1326 from San Diego, encountered issues as it landed, prompting an immediate emergency declaration by the pilots after detecting smoke.

Responders quickly arrived, deploying foam to control the flames, effectively halting the fire from spreading or causing significant damage.

Remarkably, all passengers and crew members were safely evacuated using airstairs, with no reported injuries. Frontier Airlines confirmed the aircraft’s safe landing and released a statement indicating an investigation into the fire’s cause.

The airline speculated that a “hard landing” might have contributed, though they are yet to determine the precise factors. The flight landed at 3:37 P.M., approximately 30 minutes behind schedule, with the airline expressing relief that the situation resulted in no harm to individuals aboard.

As investigations continue, Frontier remains focused on understanding and addressing the incident comprehensively.
