Four men shot at in a targetted attack

HOUSTON, TX – A shooting in southeast Houston is currently the focus of a police investigation. The incident, which took place on Monday evening, resulted in one man’s death and left another fighting for his life in the hospital.

The shooting unfolded at a convenience store on South Wayside near Telephone around 8:20 p.m. The Houston Police Department has been diligently investigating the case and has recently shared updates on the incident.

The victims, four Hispanic males, were in a black Cadillac Escalade at the time of the shooting. They had been shopping at the convenience store and were returning to their vehicle when the assailants arrived. The suspects, armed with long guns, arrived in a silver Mercedes Benz and a gray Dodge Charger.

Based on the police report, two suspects exited the Dodge and one from the Mercedes Benz. They opened fire on the Escalade before making a hasty escape from the scene.

A 34-year-old man from the Escalade was transported to the hospital, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries. Another man, aged 29, was also taken to the hospital and is currently in critical condition.

The police believe that this was a premeditated attack. The suspects have been described as three Hispanic men, all dressed in white with the exception of one who was wearing black pants. The Houston Police Department is appealing to the public for any information related to the case, encouraging people to contact them directly or to report anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
