His camera equipment and other belongings were stolen, and no witnesses have come forward to explain the circumstances leading to his death.
Ward describes her son as the backbone of their family, a passionate individual who pursued a career in cybersecurity while nurturing his love for videography and cars. His prized possession was an SRT Hellcat, which he cherished. Tragically, within three months of joining a car enthusiasts’ group, Washington’s life was cut short.
On February 2, Washington traveled to Morrow, Georgia, to capture footage for his videography work. What was meant to be a routine assignment turned into a nightmare for his family. Police arrived at the scene to find Washington unresponsive, and despite administering Narcan, a drug used to counteract opioid overdoses, he did not recover.
Authorities have not found any drugs, needles, or pills near Washington, casting doubt on the overdose theory. Investigators are considering the possibility that Washington was targeted for a robbery, with unidentified individuals suggesting he may have been sold a dangerous substance, possibly a horse tranquilizer.
