Eleven teens arrested after 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death at party

A devastating incident unfolded at a party in Somerset, resulting in the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-old English boy.

Authorities swiftly responded to an emergency call at approximately 11:00 p.m. BST on Saturday, directing emergency services to an address on Eastfield Avenue in Bath.

The immediate aftermath of the incident saw six teen boys and two teen girls apprehended on a bus within thirty minutes of the reported stabbing, according to the police. Subsequently, three additional teenage boys were arrested on Sunday, bringing the total number of detainees to eleven.

Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed that all teenagers, including the eight initially apprehended on the bus on Lansdown Lane at 11:30 p.m., are presently in police custody. In addition to the tragic loss of the 16-year-old boy, a 35-year-old woman was also stabbed but has since been discharged from the hospital, the police force informed.

Despite the efforts of members of the public who administered first aid to the boy prior to the arrival of paramedics, he tragically succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The police have scheduled a post-mortem examination to find the precise cause of the boy’s death, and further details will be disclosed in due course.
