Elderly Woman Murdered During Home Invasion in Small Oklahoma Town

Elderly resident Delores Pridmore was tragically shot and killed in a home invasion in Kellyville, Oklahoma, early Friday morning. The incident was reported around 3:20 a.m. near West 151st Street South and South 217th West Avenue, and authorities have a suspect in custody.

Daniel Wilson, 23, was taken into custody and his vehicle was found stuck in mud down the road from the scene of the investigation, according to the Creek County Sheriff’s Office. Creek County Chief Deputy Fred Clark said that Wilson is the suspect in the case.

Pridmore was a regular attendee at Blue Star Free Will Baptist Church and was well-known in the community for never missing a Sunday.

The tragic incident has left the tight-knit community reeling, as many residents have expressed that such violence is unheard of in Kellyville. “It’s a small community and this doesn’t happen,” said Jessica Rosa.

The Creek County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the tragic incident as a homicide.
