Deady body found by realtor while prepping for an open house

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – A hideous incident occurred in the city of Minneapolis, where a real estate agent found a dead body in the garage of a vacant residence this past Sunday. Identified as 51-year-old Reid Charles Johnson, the deceased man had been subjected to multiple gunshot wounds. Despite their strenuous efforts, law enforcement officials have yet to make an arrest in connection to this crime.

Over the weekend, two open houses were scheduled for the vacant Minneapolis residence located at 30th Avenue North. In an effort to prepare the residence, the involved real estate agent, identified only as Josh, found an unfamiliar vehicle in the garage.

Hoping to remove the Jeep from the garage, Josh called the Minneapolis Police Department. In their evaluation of the vehicle, police did not discern any signs of theft. However, the vehicle contained various packed containers, including a weighty, tarp-wrapped trash bin.

It wasn’t until Sunday, preparing for the second open house, that Josh and the property owner made a horrifying discovery. The suspect vehicle had disappeared, leaving behind only the heavy trash bin. In their efforts to move the container, they discovered the wrapped body of the deceased victim.

Upon uncovering the body, Josh called the police immediately. He describes Johnson’s murder as a heartrending violation of human dignity, noting that regardless of the individual’s past, no one deserves such a brutal fate.

Police are currently working on the evidence available, which includes photographs of the suspect vehicle and its license plate number. They are hopeful that surveillance footage from a neighboring church might provide crucial leads to the perpetrators.
