Dad kills his wife, in-laws, and child in deadly shooting

ALAMEDA, CA – In a heart-wrenching incident in Alameda, California, a domestic dispute turned deadly, resulting in four fatalities and leaving a young child critically wounded. The violence erupted late Wednesday night in the 400 block of Kitty Hawk Road.

Responding to a distress call from a neighbor, Alameda Police discovered a grim scene: a family destroyed by gunfire. The father, identified only as the shooter, is believed to have fatally shot his wife, her parents, and his 6-year-old son. His 1-year-old son also suffered gunshot wounds and is now fighting for his life.

Chief Nishant Joshi of the Alameda Police Department addressed the media, expressing profound grief and condemnation of the act. He described the shooter’s actions as those of a coward and reassured the public that justice would be sought earnestly for the victims.
