MIAMI GARDENS, FL – In the early hours of the morning, a chaotic scene unfolded in Miami Gardens when gunfire erupted, culminating in a fiery car crash. The incident, which occurred around 3 a.m. near a Marathon gas station at the corner of Northwest 199th Street and 37th Avenue, has left local authorities on high alert as they search for those responsible.
Surveillance footage from the gas station captured the dramatic sequence of events. Two vehicles were seen maneuvering around a corner, with one appearing to have a flat tire. The situation escalated when one of the cars veered off the road, crashing into a pole. At this point, someone inside a red SUV began shooting, their muzzle flashes clearly visible in the video.
The driver of the black car, now in flames, managed to escape and sought refuge inside the gas station. However, the driver of the red SUV didn’t leave the scene. Instead, they circled back to the front of the business, seemingly lying in wait for the victim. After pacing around for about 30 seconds, the individual got back into the vehicle, driving past the burning black car while continuing to fire shots.
In a twist, the footage also showed another man, believed to be a security guard, reacting to the gunfire by ducking for cover and readying his own weapon. Law enforcement later detained and interviewed him, but he was subsequently released without charges.
The charred remains of the black car were eventually towed from the scene as detectives combed the area for evidence. Despite the intense gunfire and the fiery crash, authorities reported no injuries. By the time officers arrived, the victim had already fled, leaving no trace behind.
As the investigation continues, police are working diligently to identify the individuals involved, particularly the gunman. With no suspects in custody and no clear motive identified, detectives are urging anyone with information to come forward.
