5 Shot, 2 Killed At Celebration Of Life

On May 15th of 2021 a terrible shooting rocked St. Paul, Minnesota. After a commemoration, gunfire suddenly broke out in the 500 block of Dale Street North, leaving five people injured.

When police officers arrived on the scene, they tragically had to announce two deaths, while another man was pronounced dead at the hospital. The remaining two victims – one man and two women – have been stabilized in critical condition.

Located at the site of the incident is Kings Crossing, a local housing development for elderly and low-income occupants. Investigators now believe that an altercation had broken out at a wake, leading to a chaotic shooting that unfolded in the parking lot.

Cops found a number of shell casings on the ground, confirming the chaotic use of firearms present at the site.

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office has stepped in to conduct post-mortem examinations that will allow them to accurately identify the victims and determine their causes of death.

For their part, the police department has been interviewing witnesses to learn what happened. While no arrests have been made yet, the search for the perpetrators of this tragedy continues.

St. Paul has lost two lives to gun violence this year so far.
