16-year-old robbed and killed by other minors

Police from Chesterfield County have announced that four youths have been charged with second-degree murder, robbery and using a firearm in the commission of a felony, in regards to the death of Tyce J. Lewis from Midlothian.

The names of the juveniles have not been released.

Lewis, who was 16-years-old, was shot last Tuesday and died shortly afterwards at a Richmond hospital. Investigations have indicated that the shooting took place at a Richmond-area neighborhood’s intersection.

Tyce J. Lewis was a student at James River High School in Chesterfield, and was described by his brother, Darron, as someone who “cared about all of his friends and family and anyone else that needed him. He stood up for the ones he loved too.”
